Amsterdam was boring!! Oh yeah... I'm not a smoker and I do like girls... But what's the point of going to Amsterdam alone when it would so much more fun to share that city with an old friend?! And so I visited this beautiful city which is much more than coffee shops and red light districts, but on the other hand I often wished I had a friend to have fun with: I must admit I would have had my share of smoke had I been with someone to go back to teenager time with.
The surprise however was Belgium, where I visited Antwerp, Bruge, Gents and Brussels and Luxemburg (of which I just visited the city). It has been a great time and was excellent to be back to some social life and with excellent companions like Eloisa, my host with whom I finally had an old promised hot chocolate, Fabian a random Swiss guy with whom was fun to share Bruge and Gents and Agata, tough as any polish girl and our party leader, and almost random meetings that once again reminded me of the great network of AIESEC.

Augusto! I can't believe you were in Amsterdam and we missed each other! I am living here now, working in Sustainability at ABN AMRO :) And you wrote in your posting, how it would have been better to share this city with an old friend... Could have been me! Oh well. I'm happy that you enjoyed your experience in Australia :) I'm going home for Christmas and am super excited!!!! I miss the aussie sun! Why did you decide to go to Czech? It's such a HUGE contrast to Australia! I won't be surprised if you're having culture shock... AGAIN. Or are you immune to that now that you have done it so many times? ;)
