Welcome to Sicily

Estonia is done... and I'm back to Sicily but only for a few days.

Leaving Estonia, slowly and without stress I've shown once again my involvement in the local culture :)

The night just before my departure, on Sunday 26th, I invited the all people I know (more or less) to come and say goodbye at the traveller's pub: the night went calm and smoothly... a last Estonia gathering without litres of alcohol: perfect for me! The pleasure to have there pretty a lot of people was unfortunately minimized by the absence of some of the people I would have definitely wanted in had I chosen to organize a smaller but more cosy gathering.

The day after the trip to Italy started with Maris and Sven bringing me to the airport... it would have been fine not having anybody around, but having the 2 of them has been a very good last moment in the Estonian territory, almost catching up all we've missed of each other in the whole year.

And eventually, after 3 landings and 14 hours trip, I arrived to Sicily. It's a nice place! It's hot, there are my friends and my family... it's my place!

Nowadays Sicily represents for me many things: variety, potential, friends, family? but every time I'm here I realize that's the place I want to come back... for vacation!! The opportunity this land offers are not that many, mindset and mentality of people are really different from the rest of Europe and I believe coming back here to work and live would really be a challenge for me... a challenge that I would be ready to face only if a good idea comes and I might really think to make a (small) difference... who knows?! The love for Sicily is in place, but the one for travelling and discovering is still stronger!

Around 35 degrees... enough to give up writing, trying to reduce any movement to zero and let my mind prepare to India and still dreaming of upcoming traineeship... cross your fingers!
